Hrit Hrishant (Goswami) was born in Kolkata. He later completed his graduation in Psychology. He made his debut as a film director in 2017. He has written several screenplays and is a lyricist and screenwriter. He has been a panelist for numerous acting workshops and is frequently featured in the acting community. He started writing poetry at the age of thirteen. "Samay Holo Je Jabar" is his first self-published collection of poems.
