Director Lin Hongjie is good at expressing the rhythm of the drama through the lens, so most of the works can show the rhythm and mirroring of the Japanese drama. In 2006, he was shortlisted for the Golden Bell Award for Best Director with "Detective Story" and 2016 "A Generation of Recruit Baji Boys".
