Fine Sendel (born August 9, 2000, in Berlin) is a German actress. She is best known for her leading role in the feature film The Ordinaries (2023). She had her first major theater role in 2018 in Champignol wider Willen at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz, directed by Herbert Fritsch – originally as a choir member, then cast at short notice in the lead role of Mauricette. Sendel had her breakthrough in 2022 with the lead role in The Ordinaries, an innovative German sci-fi film in which she plays a young woman who wants to prove herself as the “main character” in a dystopian world. Her other roles include: Tina mobil (ZDF miniseries, 2021) as Julia Sanftleben; Die Mittagsfrau (2023) – a literary adaptation – and episodic roles in series such as SOKO Stuttgart, In aller Freundschaft – Die jungen Ärzte, Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo, Morden im Norden, WaPo Berlin, Notruf Hafenkante, and Jenseits der Spree. In interviews, she emphasizes how important artistic freedom and social relevance are to her in her roles.
