In the past, Stella's family and her home were stolen from her. As she fled with her servants, she was rescued by none other than Count Schwef -- the man who was responsible for her plight in the first place. And so she came to live in the home of her father's bitter rival, all the while, secretly planning her revenge... Until the count's eldest son, Michel, took a liking to her.

He wasn't a particularly capable man, and was rather spoiled, so Stella became his caretaker. Eventually, even the count became like family to her. With Michel's social debut looming, our heroine decided to leave the mansion. But on the night of Michel's debutante ball, he summoned her... and his entire demeanor changed.

After overcoming various hardships and telling one another their feelings, they officially became a couple.

It's been one year since then, and Count Schwef is about to hold a ceremony for Stella, and after so much time together, she's prepared to accept a proposal of marriage from Michel. The good times are not to last, however...

A mysterious man with an army of sorcerers at his call enters the manor of House Schwef and sweeps Stella away despite her protests.

Stella and her captor arrive at the royal palace, where Stella is kept prisoner. This man seems to know more about Stella than she does...
